CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) is a community training program that teaches basic skills that would be needed to respond to our community’s urgent needs in the aftermath of a disaster, when emergency services are not immediately available.
Training includes how to safely and effectively respond to neighborhood emergency situations. Topics covered include disaster preparedness, fire suppression, medical operations, light search and rescue, disaster psychology and team organization.
